We ply a Southern course from Miami, stopping in the Victorian heart of Puerto Plata, to reach the little latitudes of the Caribbean Sea where the ABC islands glisten. Late departures in Kralendijk and Willemstad let us indulge in these Dutch darlings whilst Willemstad wows with sorbet-hued harbour houses. We calm the pace during two days at sea before Ocean Cay Marine Reserve, our private escape, answers the dream of being gloriously secluded on a paradisiacal island.
